THE Polaroid GALLERY

On the left you will find links to SX70 manipulations, emulsion lifts, and images taken with vintage Polaroid medium format cameras. They're not all pretty. Many of them are early pieces from when I first began learning altered Polaroid techniques. Some of the black and whites were not coated properly - some of the emulsion lifts could have used a little extra finesse. But they're mine, and they're a good reflection of the learning process.

A few of the color 669 Land images were scanned in whole and then later turned into emulsion lifts, so you'll see before and after shots. A lot of the subjects are the same even though the manipulation techniques are different. On the whole, I tried to leave the images raw and unadulterated from their analog counterparts. Many of the emulsion lifts have been further manipulated with paints and pigments since being scanned.
